The Gold Coast Volunteer Awards will be held at the magnificent HOTA on Saturday 25 May 2019,
4-7pm. Gathering at dusk, hundreds of the Gold Coasts finest volunteers, organisations and corporates will come together to honour, reward and recognise the contribution volunteers make to the Gold Coast.
Sera Jeong was the previous Gold Coast Youth Volunteer of the Year winner. Sera has enjoyed volunteering from a very young age and believes this has fuelled her passion for making a difference.
“I volunteer not only because it is my privilege to make a meaningful contribution to my community, but also because it is all of our responsibility to take care of one another,” Said Sera Jeong.
“I believe volunteering has given me greater self-esteem. The motivation and vision I get from volunteering will help me reach my professional goals earlier and broaden my personal networks too.” Said Ms Jeong.
